Yeah, so I suck. You read about my Day 1 escapades.
Well… after some retooling, I came back to Day 2, looking for some fun in the Master’s B’s. I spied Brad Ross and heckled him telling him my sole goal would be to beat him.

As of yesterday, there are now 346 cyclocross only memberships bringing our total annual membership to 3,370 riders. Last year the numbers were 3,315 annual members as of October 26, 2007- and we haven’t even hit Cross Crusade yet. Oy [...]

K-Man rolled into the venue on the moto at around 11:20… with 40 minutes left, I was unable to get the helmet cam mounted up and only had a chance to ride around the course twice as a warmup. Oh well.

Today was Portland Velo and Sunset Cycle’s Pain on the Peak Cross Race- and boy oh boy was it a good one. The venue was gorgeous with a fantastic views.

After a couple trips up and down I-5 in windy and calm weather, I am a big proponent of the Johnny Rack with the Yakima Boa. The side winds blow you around a little bit but the bike remains extremely stable with no wobble. K-Man is very happy.
