OK…. so you were in a dusty early season cross race and you have dirt clods stuck in your head… or were in a very dusty environment and when you blow your nose, it comes out brown. What the heck do you do? How do you get your nasal passages nice and sparkly [...]

As some of you remember, K-Man has had some issues with his jersey stinking.

Which could be a good thing.

But for the sake of the peloton and the animals, K-Man decided to take some action.

After wracking his brain… K-Man tried a couple of solutions… some friendly folks (who perhaps were offended by the [...]

I unfortunately suffer from these characteristics. (Oh, and short legs too)
    (SHSASL Syndrome)
Contrast with Really Long Femur Syndrom (RLFS)- characteristic of riders like Ryan Trebon, Barry Wicks, Mandy.

Up until recently I have been using normal (classic) geometry road bars- Ritchey Carbon WCS bars. 44 cm (c-c), 31.8, 144 mm drop [...]

    Is this proper hand protection?
    Sock:
    Pluses- cheap
Minuses- no holes for thumb or fingers, not much padding, hot
At least this is in the right sport.
    Shoe cover:
    Pluses: semi waterproof
Minuses: hole for thumb too big, no holes for fingers, no padding, zipper chafes
    Better.
    Winter gloves:
Pluses: Great in the winter, cycling specific
    Minuses: For summer? NOT.
    Even better.
    Gloves with carbon [...]

Ever wonder what K-Man can’t live without? Probably not- here they are anyways.

To start- an ode to my geekdom. e.g. My Wii and Xbox 360.

Coffee and wine. Now who could disagree?

    Clean teeth.

    My trusty backscratcher.

    My well loved loofa.

    Garmin 305 with HR+Speed/Cadence SRP: $433.32
    Full specifications.
So… I thought I’d give it a try. My first product review. If you’re thinking of getting a Garmin 305, do it. I like it a lot more than the Polar S710 that I used to have. Why? First off, there’s a heck of [...]

I’m either really hungover or I’m doing something I shouldn’t be.
Scary aren’t they? Well, I had the good fortune of being a guinea pig for a bunch of really cool Pacific University optometry students. Their research was for their thesis entitled “How to intimidate others by wearing contacts that make you look like [...]
