Sundays are always good for a soul crushing, march of destruction. One person in particular suffered this fate- Dave Aldersebaes conquered today’s Elkhorn stage all by himself from mile 17 to mile 106. He didn’t give up when he could have taken the easy way out. We cheered for him as he [...]

Recap from Sunday’s race in near by Erlangen.
The 72k distance was comprised of 6 laps of 12k. Each circuit had a 2k climb, starting of moderately, peaking at about 14% grade, then gradual to the top. Erlangen is only 10k from Herzogenaurach (my town), and it gave me the chance to review the course and [...]

    News
Poor Adam went down hard during a training ride in Madrid. He suffered a lot of trail rash. Despite that he took 31st. He is still ahead of Todd Wells by 10 points in the World Cup Standings.
If only I’d recovered from that day instead of climbing up the [...]

    Bonjour,
Today my first race in Europe. We did a local Kermesse, in the small town of Gullegem (hullehem), Belgium. 11 circuits of 8.5 K, with lots of corners and one ‘hill’, a 1/2 mile rise that gained less than 100 feet. The five of us rode to the race, it took about 30 minutes. Soon [...]
