All I can say is, I will remember the past two days, for a while. Saturday was another ridiculous stage. We had a 5k climb averaging 10% grade (15% first 3k), 1k into the race. That was just the beginning, the next 55k was all slightly up, up and up. [...]

Poor Adam went down hard during a training ride in Madrid. He suffered a lot of trail rash. Despite that he took 31st. He is still ahead of Todd Wells by 10 points in the World Cup Standings.
