Despite the rain, 1,267 racers showed up for the first Cross Crusade of the season. The womens’ fields were huge - with 75 beginners and 49 B’s. (I’ll list the other fields later). Compared to 2007, the 2008 race had 178 more riders.
Having a wi-fi race network set-up, we were able to post initial results within 30 minutes of each race’s finish- placing close to 100% of the riders. . The crew, especially the Murray’s made this possible.
