OK…. so you were in a dusty early season cross race and you have dirt clods stuck in your head… or were in a very dusty environment and when you blow your nose, it comes out brown. What the heck do you do? How do you get your nasal passages nice and sparkly clean?
Of course! You use NeilMed’s Sinus Rinse!!!
What in the world is a sinus rinse? It’s a “volume therapeutic saline nasal irrigation & moisturizing system.”
What does is do? It helps alleviate:
- Sinus symptoms
- Nasal allergies and common cold
- Post nasal drip, congestion and dryness
- Nasal irritation from occupational dust, fumes, animal dander, grass, pollen, smoke, smog & house dust
What do you do? You open one of these packets:
Pour the contents into the provided bottle:
Add warm water and screw the irrigator on:
Shove said irrigator up one nostril and squeeze. Gets that nasty dusty snot out in a jiffy! (Follow directions on box- otherwise you will snarf)

Hey K-man,
I use that every day to keep my sinus clean . . .two nose surgeries. Don’t use plan tap water - tap water has gunk in it. Use distilled water, it’s clean and you want the cleanest water going into your sinus’. I just microwave the distilled water in a glass for 35 seconds to make it luke warm, then I add the pack and the water to the bottle.
Cheers

I heard that snorting milk is also good for soaking up dust and then violently purging the sinuses. One way to accomplish this is to drink a large, cold glass while simultaneously watching John Stewart’s election coverage.
I’d give you a dollar to do that and post the results on youtube.

Oh K-man, your blog has class in ways that mine never will. Just as I lack the restraint to not post pictures of me in a speedo, if this were my review, I’d have detailed, step-by-step photographic documentation — including any “collateral damage” to carpets, table cloths, and upholstery — of the whole process. Nice work staying above the fray, as it were.
