Alright- so K-Man has been hiding in the OBRA bunker loving the extra paperwork!

As of yesterday, there are now 346 cyclocross only memberships bringing our total annual membership to 3,370 riders. Last year the numbers were 3,315 annual members as of October 26, 2007- and we haven’t even hit Cross Crusade yet. Oy vey!

We are looking for an additional sponsor for our road numbers next year- $2,000. For $3,500 we will also put an ad on the OBRA site for the 2009 season. Since Feb. 21, 2008 the site has had over 2.4 million page views with close to 750,000 visits and 244,600 visitors. Over the past month the site has had 92,241 visits by 30,000 visitors with over 350,000 pageviews.

K-Man has decided to go single chain ring for CCX bike since he has a bad tendency to bite it and lose his chain.

Interbike

There’s a lot of NW folks down at Interbike. I’ll watch for updates.

Bikehugger has started their Interbike coverage
Cyclocross Magazine has started their cross specific coverage.
Heidi starts blogging from Interbike.

News

Chris King debuts their long awaited bottom bracket.

Cyclofile has their first video of the ‘08 season up. (Star crossed and Rad Racing GP)

Race Cyclocross! also has their video up of Starcrossed.

I checked out the Veloshop Rickreall Rampage course. Looks to be a good combo of racing- long fast stretches with a pretty gnarly singletrack area. There’s some bumpy gopher hole areas but looks to be a lots of fun. Advantage goes to those who can grab the hole shot and can ride fast. The single track area is pretty curvy with few areas to pass. I’m stoked.
