What a great weekend of racing! Personally, not the best but it was a heck of a lot of fun.
Veloshop had their Rickreall Rampage that was a hoot with a homemade bridge. I lost a pedal but was able to limp in riding with one foot. (Candi is going to send the finishlynx camera pic). I gotta say, having a race near where you live rules. I rode there in less than 30 minutes.
Sunday was the Battle at Barlow- dry, hot and fast. I had an awesome race, except for a stupid dropped chain (our poor contributaire extraordinaire Heidi suffered the same fate). We had close to 550 riders. (oh- and Candi, don’t forget to send along the running finishlynx pic)
Well, time to deal with the aftermath of both races….
About 100 new annual memberships. Yikes! Well it’s a good thing that Russell Cree, my new coach has directed me to take the day off. Although… I’m not quite getting the instruction to run tomorrow. Running is the devil.

Our Vancouver, BC native Svein Tuft, (to be riding with Garmin Chipotle) took 2nd in the TT at Worlds- beating out both Zabriskie and Leipheimer. Congrats Svein! On the road side Tyler Farrar slotted in 63rd.
