I liked the VStrom and the Yamaha FZ6 as well but overall I really liked the BMW F800ST. A little pricey but with anti lock brakes, heated grips, tire pressure sensors, and many other safety features… and the seven year warranty, I felt it was worth the pain to my wallet.
How do you like the soft shell luggage? I’ve been looking at the hard case stuff but it’s out of my price range after the cost of the bike itself. Is yours waterproof? Do you leave it on all the time or does it come off pretty easily? I want to get some for the winter commuting I’ll be doing but it’s got to be waterproof.
