Yesterday was such a desaster . . .We went from 5th place team on GC to last place team; We were sitting pretty, Dave and Carson made it into the final 40 guys with the last big climb to go when a healthnet guy stuffed up a feed in the feed zone and went down. He took out our GC guy Dave down with him and it was a hard, hard crash. We had to get a bike change and by that time we where done the field was long gone as Garmin went on the attack right after that.
Then to add insult to injury, Josh who was in the big bunch behind the field, flatted and the support car left the group leaving Josh standing on the side of the road until the broom wagon came by and gave him a wheel.
Our hopes of winning the young riders jersey is now gone, we’re on to a new game plan of winning tonight stage and going on the attack with Garmin tomorrow.
Cheer for yellow if you can, we need it. We’re trying to do Oregon and OBRA proud.
Cheers
