So first off- big congrats to Carl Decker for kickin’ some butt down at SSWC (Single Speed World Championships - MTB). Now… what people may not know is that Bend’s own Amy Mitchell and Henry Abel won the tandem category at SSWC. As far as we understand, all the winners receive tattoos. We are looking forward to pictures of their tattoos in the near future. Right Henry, Amy? :p

Get well soon to Gordon Yutzy!! A car pulled out in front of him during a training ride on Wolf Creek. He’s currently in intensive care.
Also… I’m working with USAC to clarify which categories will need to purchase annual USAC licenses (instead of 1 days) to compete in USAC CCX events.
Also.. to clarify, OBRA is NOT adopting the UCI age rules.
To catch up on the Olympics- big congrats to Mary Mcconneloug who took 7th in the MTB CX. Adam had a tough race coming in 29th. We’re proud of all of you.

Chris Horner also has a great article in the newest issue of Velonews- about him not being chosen for the Olympics.
