Yeah, but doesn't Ricco have more virtue now than either Fllloyd Landis or Tyler Shamilton? Both of those guys doped, lied to their families, lied to their support networks, assembled crack legal teams to lie for them and on their behalf, and in Shammy's case kept right on lying until his suspension was up.

Ricco came clean. Not very gracefully. Not right away. But he admitted doping.

There's two types of pro cyclist: Those who have admitted doping and those who haven't. The first group at least we can be pretty sure is being honest about it.

Yes it cost Castelli money, because they could not capitalize on Ricco. But Ricco did what he did because he is a product of his environment. It's not to say what he did was ok. Ricky Ricardo aka Ricco is finished in cycling, are those that put it in his hands finished, probably not. Is Castelli finished? Nope, they'll still be around next year and years to come. It may have effected Castelli in the bottom line for profits, this year. But they could spin it and be creative. And make money from it some how. Bad thing is, Cycling at the highest level is driven by big $$$ and some who have been brought up in the ranks of doping will take the low road to make big $$$. It a vicious cycle. I feel bad for all involved.
