Alrighty- after getting 11 hours of sleep, I am happy! My brain seems to be working again in its own messed up way.
Random Bits
Had a great day yesterday, T-Girl, Heidi, Sal (Bondi) and I all met at HPChiro yesterday to get LT Tests. On the way up, I texted Omer:
“Is it ok if I take 4 days off after my LT test?”
“Why do you want to take 4 days off?”
“I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck and get can’t get rid of the cough.”
“No LT Test.”
Dangit. Oh well- I listened to coach. Heidi bailed too- tired and didn’t want to kill herself before today’s ride (see below) T got tested and she did REALLY well- over 300 watts and able to sustain. Sal went last- we all heckled Sal- poor guy.
Emily Martini did the testing- and she is awesome. T and arrived early and ran into Kevin “Hugelick” Hulick in the midst of testing. Below is video of LT testing.
Robbie- subject of my affection. You have been replaced. Cavendish- you are now THE MAN.

Heiderrific is off doing a Rondo today with Sal (Bondi- not Collura) and some friends- 127 miles and 7,800 feet of climbing. She is tougher than K-Man. Even EPO wouldn’t save me. She’s also put up some of the Horner pics up for sale. Everydayathleteblog.com has also been added to the Alltop internet magazine rack.
Sue Butler aka “Kick Ass” Mountain Biker reports from NMBS #5. She posts pics that include the words “troll” and “G-Spot”.
Dougie has been racing in China and has been updating quite frequently.
Adam Craig reports on his exploits from Windham, NY. He also posts a pic of what looks to be a Nissan Murano being driven like a rally car.
