News

Some of our boys went down in a crash at Redlands this weekend. Omer Kem and Aaron Olson Tuckerman hit the deck. Norrene reports that Aaron hurt his back and neck while Omer is in a neck brace. I’ll check in with him and see if I can get any more details. Lisa Turnbull was also crashed out on Friday but is ok, except for the bruise below. (Look closely and you’ll see ONO in the bruise)

Willamette’s 2009 dates are preliminarily April 16-19.

Brad Ross said the De Ronde was nuts with lots and lots of riders. Photos.

    Hey Kenji,

I haven’t yet heard if he got involved in the big crash that affected Omer.

I was really proud to see how well he did, in his first Pro-1 stage race. He did the TT w/o any aero equipment, and raced the entire event on old parts, heavy wheels, and an old helmet from 2003. Seeing as he’s broke after a string of medical bills after getting hit multiple times by cars, he’s barely getting by. He is selling clothing to earn funds at http://www.brandt-sorenson.com and I have previously posted info about this cause last fall.

That info can be found here:

    Thanks!
    Chris
